This is the perfect workshop if you want to have a go at weaving.  

We will take you step by step through the weaving process.  Starting with a weaving card we will thread the loom ready to weave. We will then walk you through selecting your wool/threads/ribbons ready to create either a landscape or an abstract design. You will learn how to vary the weave to create texture and add interest with tassels and beads. If you have any beads or charms that you would like to incorporate in the design, please feel free to bring them along. 

We will finish off with a dowelling rod or similar so that you can hang your piece of work once you get home.
 
What do I need to bring?
  • You do not need to bring anything with you, all materials are supplied, however please feel free to bring along any beads/charms you wish to add to your weaving.

Our workshops include unlimited tea and coffee and we usually have biscuits and/or cake too. 

Level:  Beginners, no previous experience necessary.

Terms & Conditions - The fee for the workshop is payable when booking. If you need to cancel your booking, we are unable to offer a refund. You may however be able to nominate someone else to attend the workshop in your place. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to sickness or insufficient places sold.  If we have to cancel you will be refunded the full amount paid or given the option to transfer your booking to another workshop.
